Pickup starts at about a hundred pallets. If you want to bring pallets to us, call first: we need a significant quantity and must be able to unload your load at our dock. We will confirm the details before you make the trip.
From about 100 pallets. We run the Twin Cities metro out of Lake Elmo — Minneapolis, St. Paul, Woodbury, Eagan, Maple Grove and the rest. If pallets pile up every week we can park a trailer at your dock and swap it.
Call before bringing pallets to our Lake Elmo yard. Drop-offs require a significant quantity and a load we can unload at our dock. Tell us the count, pallet sizes and how you plan to transport them so we can confirm whether we can accept the load and arrange the details.
No surprises at the gate
Most disposal is free, some of it pays you, and a little of it costs a small fee. Which one you land on comes down to what the wood is still good for. Here is the whole list.
Also called cores, 4-ways, grade A and B. Over 100.
The standard pallet most companies run. Easy to repair and always in demand, so above a hundred we buy them from you rather than charge you. Contact us before arranging a drop-off so we can confirm the quantity and dock unloading.
48×48, 48×42, 42×42 and similar.
Repairable sizes we can resell, so pickup is usually free from about 100 pallets. Over a hundred there may be money in it — tell us the count.
72×50, 40×51, block pallets, one-offs.
Still full of usable lumber, so most go free. If a load needs extra sorting there is a small fee, and you hear it before we roll.
Plywood, particle board, crates, loose wood.
Beyond repair, but your dock still needs clearing. We take it and process it, and the fee is well below what a waste hauler charges for bulky wood.
Payment only ever starts above a hundred pallets, whether we collect them or you bring them in. Drop-offs require prior confirmation of the quantity and dock unloading. Every fee is quoted up front, and nothing is ever added after the truck has been.
Where it actually goes
“Disposal” is the wrong word for what happens next. Every pallet that comes through the gate gets sorted by hand. The ones that can be fixed are fixed and sold again as recycled pallets. The ones that can’t give up their good boards for new pallets. Whatever is left over leaves the yard as mulch, animal bedding or biomass fuel.
So your pile does not become somebody’s landfill problem, and you have a straight answer when your own customers ask what you do with it.

Don’t leave it to chance
The moment your load is sorted, an email lands showing exactly what came off the truck — how many of each grade, and what each one was worth. If you are owed money it is paid against that same order number, so there is nothing to chase.

We pick up, sort every pallet by hand, and email you the report. Regular pile-up? We can leave a trailer and swap it on a schedule.
