Is pallet pickup free? Often, yes. If you have about 100 pallets or more in the Twin Cities, we'll come and get them. Standard 48×40 pallets earn you money, odd sizes go free, broken loads go free or for a small fee, and wood waste always carries a fee.
What it costs to get rid of your pallets
| What you have | What happens |
|---|---|
| 100 or more standard 48×40 pallets | We pay you, typically $1 to $5 each |
| Odd sizes (48×48, 48×42, 42×42) | Free pickup, sometimes paid at volume |
| Broken pallets and very odd sizes | Free or a small fee, quoted before we send a truck |
| Plywood, crates, particle board, loose lumber | A fee, quoted up front and below a waste hauler's bulky-wood rate |
| Fewer than about 100 pallets | Below our pickup minimum |
How pickup works
Send a pickup request with the count, the sizes and your address. We confirm what's paid, free or charged before a truck moves. Pickup runs 1 to 7 days, depending on location and availability. We sort every pallet by hand and email you the report.
Can I drop pallets off at your yard?
Only by arrangement, for a significant quantity, unloaded at our dock. We don't take walk-in drop-offs, so call or send a request first. Payment follows the count, not how the pallets arrive: 200 dropped off pays the same as 200 picked up.
What if I have fewer than 100?
A truck run doesn't pay for itself below about 100 pallets, so most businesses stack them until they have a load. If you need them gone sooner, your waste hauler can usually take them.
Pallets pile up every week?
We can leave a trailer at your dock and swap it on a schedule, so you never handle the pile twice.
